It often serves as a convenient venue for small meetings, family lunches, and stopovers for travellers. Its location within the town makes it accessible to residents and visitors alike.

 What it is & where:

DeoRios is located in Dumangas (Brgy. Paloc-Sool, Dumangas, Iloilo, Philippines”). Their hours: open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

 What to expect:

Food & Atmosphere Specializes in seafood and barbecue — popular dishes include a seafood platter, grilled native fish, steamed oysters, grilled dishes, and more. Dessert also gets praise — their “buko halo-halo” (halo-halo served inside a young coconut) is often mentioned as a “must-try.” The ambiance is described as relaxing and unique: the restaurant has nipa-hut cottages over a pond, giving a chill, native-feel vibe. They also sometimes have live music / local entertainers, adding to a lively, fun dining experience — good for groups, families, or celebration-type visits.

What people like vs  What to expect Pros:

Great quality seafood for the price — food & portion sizes get consistent praise. Nice, chill atmosphere — pond, cottages, native-style setup makes for a pleasant dining vibe. Good for groups / events / get-togethers thanks to space and laid-back setting. Cons / Things to know: Because it’s popular — especially on weekends or peak times — it can get crowded. Some reviews/commenters note that toilet or restroom facilities could be improved.

 Who is it good for

Great for seafood lovers who want fresh seafood + grilled dishes without being too fancy or expensive. Perfect for families, barkada (friends), or group outings — especially if you want a relaxed, native-style place with space to hang out. Also good if you like a bit of ambience and chill vibe — pond, cottages, maybe even live music.

Here’s a simple way to get from Iloilo City → Dumangas, Iloilo (where DeoRios Seafood & BBQ Restaurant is).

Rough distance & travel time Dumangas is about 25–30 km from Iloilo City by road. By car/taxi, it usually takes around 25–30 minutes (traffic depending).

Public-transport route (jeepney / van) If you don’t have a private car: From wherever you are in Iloilo City, ride a local jeepney that goes to Tagbak Terminal (or sometimes via other city loops — depends where in the city you start). At Tagbak Terminal, look for a jeepney (or van) heading to Dumangas. Ask the driver or conductor “pa-Dumangas.” Ride until Dumangas town proper — that should bring you close to the center, from where you can hail a tricycle (or walk/taxi depending how far) to reach the exact location of DeoRios.
