It’s located along Barotac Nuevo–Dumangas Road and sits near key local landmarks like the St. Augustine Parish Church and civic facilities. The plaza is a relaxed community spot where residents meet, stroll, and enjoy local events, reflecting the town’s friendly atmosphere.

• Dumangas is about 25–28 km northeast of Iloilo City by road, and the drive usually takes around 25–30 minutes by car or taxi, depending on traffic and exact start point in the city. 

How to Get There from Iloilo City

1. Jeepney / Van

• From Iloilo City, you can take a jeepney or air-conditioned van going to Dumangas from terminals like Baldoza Terminal (La Paz) or Tagbak Terminal (Jaro).
• Vans from Baldoza to Dumangas usually cost around ₱60 per person and take about 30 minutes. 

2. Bus or Minibus (Local Public Transport)

• Some buses or routed jeepneys pass through Leganes, Zarraga, and then to Dumangas; you can ask the conductor where to alight for the town plaza or nearby local stops.

3. Taxi or Ride-Hailing

• A taxi or Grab from Iloilo City to Dumangas is the most direct and comfortable option, taking roughly 30 minutes, though it costs more than public transport. 

4. From Dumangas Transport Terminal

• Once you arrive in Dumangas, the town plaza is within easy local jeepney/tricycle distance from the transport terminal — locals can guide you to the plaza or Poblacion.
